Wee Care Kindergarten is a "Three Year Accredited" Child Care Centre which provides care for 29 children per day between the ages of 3-5 years. We are open 8.30am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Additional time from 8.00am till 5.00pm can be arranged.

Wee Care 2 provides care for up to 29 children per day between the ages of 2-4 years and is open 8.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.Wee Care 2 is also a "Three Year Accredited" centre. Both centres are open 48 weeks of the year, only closing on Public Holidays and for 4 weeks over Christmas.

Our centres aim to provide a secure and stimulating environment in which each child can be a constructor of their own learning, developing their unique interests and personalities at their own individual pace, while fostering their self esteem and confidence and furthering their skills in all areas of development.

From our observations staff plan in three areas... * Individual needs and interests... * small group needs and interests... * whole group needs and interests. Activities available may include painting, blocks, puzzles, play dough, craft, construction equipment, books and stories, puppets, computers, music, drama, sand and water play and other outdoor activities.

Our Gross Motor development philosophy, focusses on developing the children's gross motor skills at their own pace, to help to build their self esteem, body awareness, coordination, balance and creativity to enable them to confidently participate in cooperative and group games and other activities. A Specialist music teacher comes in twice a week providing a music program based on the Orff method which involves the children using their bodies as musical instruments, progressing to the use of untuned and tuned percussion instruments.
